Add loved one’s name to memorial
Families of those killed in an alcohol- or drug-related crash may arrange for placement of a free tile in their loved one’s name on the Snohomish County DUI Victims Memorial Wall.
Anyone who has been a resident of Snohomish County and was killed anywhere in the world as a DUI victim is eligible.
The seventh round of tiles on the memorial will be unveiled at 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE. Deadline for families to apply for a memorial tile is Wednesday.

Car show rolls into Lakewood
The third annual Hot August Car Show in Lakewood is planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, 1424 172nd St. NE.
Judging begins at noon and winners will receive trophies. Refreshments will include early-bird cinnamon rolls and coffee.
Children’s activities and prize drawings are planned. A nonperishable food item buys a raffle ticket.
The entrance fee is $15 prior to the event, $20 at the show, with proceeds going to the Stillaguamish and Stanwood senior centers.

Playhouse Disney coming to Everett
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 21 for Playhouse Disney Live!, coming to the Everett Events Center on Feb. 17, 2008.
The touring stage production features characters from four shows on the Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney.
