Ingraham Boulevard meeting planned
A community meeting is planned for 5 to 8 tonight at Cedarcrest School, 6400 88th St. NE, Marysville. Learn about the city’s plans to extend Ingraham Boulevard.
The $5 million extension is designed to bypass the narrow and steep 84th Street NE and to connect to the planned new Marysville-Pilchuck High School near Highway 9. Both the road and the school are targeted for completion by 2010.
Girls get makeup tips in Edmonds
Girls can learn the basics of makeup and fashion at a class being offered by Edmonds Parks and Recreation.
The class is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the parks and recreation building at 700 Main St. The class costs $60 and is for girls 11 to 17 years old.
Participants must bring a sack lunch, clear nail polish and mascara.

Latin Wednesday on county plaza
Sonando, a Latin jazz ensemble, plans to entertain from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Snohomish County Plaza, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The concert is free.
Sonando was founded in 1990 by Fred Hoadley, formerly of Bochinche. Band members include Tom Bergerson, Chris Stromquist, Jim Coile, Christopher Stover and Barney Brazitis.
