Adopt-A-Stream Foundation offers an “Ecycle” event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett.

Costs are:

  • Computers, printers, scanners, $5. More for heavier equipment.

  • Monitors and laptops, $10.

  • TVs, $25 and up depending on size.

  • Wooden TV consoles, $60.

  • Pentium 4 computers, Pentium 3 keyboards, mice, power cables, wires and inkject cartridges, free.

    Don’t bring Styrofoam, VCRs, microwaves, stereo equipment or household appliances.

    Seniors are invited to Edmonds prom

    The Edmonds Exchange Club will host a senior prom for area seniors at 7 p.m. Friday at the South County Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave., Edmonds. Don’t worry, ladies, they will provide extra men.

    Music will be played by the Astoria Band. Enjoy light refreshments and get pictures taken.

    There will be designated dancers for single ladies. To make a reservation, call 425-774-5555.

    Arlington middle school info night

    Fifth-grade information nights are planned tonight at both of the Arlington School District’s middle schools.

    The evening sessions give parents a chance to meet sixth-grade staff and administration and learn about the typical school day.

    The session at Haller Middle School, 600 E. First St., begins at 7 p.m.

    The session at Post Middle School, 1220 E. Fifth St., begins at 6:30 p.m.

    Sing or dance your heart out

    Marysville Strawberry Festival organizers are looking for people of all ages to participate in a talent show June 14.

    The deadline to apply is Friday. Application forms are available online at www.maryfest.com/talentshowentry.htm. Auditions are set for May 21 and 22 in Marysville.
