Doug Smith, the 2006 National Fingerstyle Guitar Champion and a Grammy Award winner, is scheduled to perform at 7 tonight at Lakewood High School, 17023 11th Ave. NE, Arlington.
The show, with Jody Koch Smith, benefits the Lakewood Education Foundation, which raises money for scholarships.
Tickets are $15 at the door.
Lynnwood and the Lynnwood Teen Advisory Group plan to hold Lockdown, a break-dance battle, at 7 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Valley Gym, 19400 56th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
Registration will be at 6 p.m. Admission is $15.
The event features three separate competitions with prizes for the top performers in each category.

Friends of Forgotten Creek need volunteers for a work party from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Forgotten Creek Natural Area.
The group wants to clear the site of ivy and other non-native species and replace them with native Western Washington plants.
Meet at the north entrance on Bond Street and Kromer Avenue in Everett, across from Depot Park Garden.
Tools and refreshments will be supplied.
A salute of remembrance is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the old Navy fire hall at the north end of the Arlington Municipal Airport. The fire hall and two other buildings are scheduled for demolition to make way for new commercial development.
The ceremony includes a Navy color guard unit and speeches from Arlington officials and Capt. Thomas Tack from Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.
Retired Marine Richard Logg Sr. and the Arlington Airport Commission are planning the event.
