Dia de los Muertos planned Sunday
A Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebration is planned for 4 p.m. Sunday at the Sky Valley Education Center, 17072 Tye St., Monroe.
Latinos Unidos, in collaboration with Sky Performing Arts, presents the Latin American tradition to honor ancestors, with flowers, music and their favorite food.
Admission is by donation.

Senior Services of Snohomish County seeks volunteers to help others with Medicare Part D by becoming a Health Insurance Benefits Adviser HelpLine volunteer.
The position could include counseling, public speaking, advocacy and research.
HelpLine volunteers receive training about health-care insurance and access.

The public is invited to enter their vehicles strung with lights in a Marysville holiday parade.
The Electric Lights Parade at this year’s 20th anniversary Merrysville for the Holidays winter celebration is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 6.
Entries must be received by Dec. 3.

Mukilteo craft fair helps scholarships
The 16th annual Mukilteo Schools Craft Fair is planned for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Voyager Middle School, 11711 Fourth Ave. W., Everett.
Find goods from more than 70 vendors.
Proceeds support a scholarship fund for students at Kamiak, Mariner and ACES high schools along with the Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center.
Admission to the event will be a 50-cent donation.
