The Herald will publish its annual Ways to Give list Nov. 19. Ways to Give lets readers know about the charitable groups that need help to do their work during the holiday season.
We need: the name of your organization, what services you provide, hours, address, a phone number to be included in the listing, a phone number for confirmation, and what items or services you need.

Food bank needs more volunteers
With the holiday season approaching, the Marysville Food Bank is looking for several volunteers, including a new director.
The director would work up to 20 volunteer hours a week and would oversee 60 volunteers. Tuesday work hours are especially needed.

Hospital plans vaccination clinic
Valley General Hospital plans to hold a vaccination clinic with the Snohomish Health District from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 14701 179th Ave. SE in Monroe.
Available vaccinations are adult flu vaccine for $30; children’s flu vaccine for $30, or $15 if they qualify for the Vaccine for Children Program; adult pneumonia immuni- zations for $48; adult tetanus and diphtheria immunizations for $42; and adult tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis immunizations for $61.
All fees must be paid in cash or by check made payable to the Snohomish Health District. No debit or credit cards will be accepted.

Work begins on new high school
The public is invited to a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of Snohomish School District’s second high school.
Boots are suggested.
The event is planned for 3:30 p.m. Friday. The school site is at 7401 144th Place SE, across from Willis D. Tucker Community Park on Cathcart Way.
