Program discusses Medicare changes
Medicare prescription drug plans are changing next year, with differences in deductibles, monthly premiums and coverage. Medicare health plans, also known as Medicare Advantage plans, also have changed.
Some even include prescription drug coverage. Senior Services of Snohomish County has scheduled a seminar at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to help answer questions about these changes.

Computer teachers needed in Mill Creek
The Mill Creek Senior Center is looking for volunteer computer instructors for their classes.
The center offers a variety of classes to seniors in their computer lab at McCollum Park in Everett.

Today is Veterans Day. Here are some resulting closures:
Government: Federal, state and local offices are closed.
Schools: Closed.
Post offices: Closed, although Express Mail service continues.
Commerce: Most banks are closed.
Transportation: Everett Transit, Community Transit, Dial-A-Ride and state ferries are on regular schedules.
