A student art show is scheduled to continue through Jan. 15 at the Mukilteo Art Centre, 724 First St.
Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except New Year’s Day.

The Snohomish Seniors group is preparing for an indoor rummage sale scheduled for the end of January. Quality rummage-sale donations (no clothing) are being sought through Jan. 17.

The State Productivity Board is asking the public and state workers to help recognize public employees who have gone the extra mile.
The Extra Mile Award is given to an individual or group of public employees who surpass expectations for exemplary public service by demonstrating at least one of the following attributes:
Approximately 10 to 15 people statewide will be selected and honored with this award. Winners are recognized by their agency for their outstanding qualities.
