Matt Ketschbaum of Skagit Wild Bird Supply in Mount Vernon is scheduled to give a presentation at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 E. Camano Drive.

He plans to discuss supplemental feeders, how to offer a safe haven for the birds, how to provide water year round, and how to attract wildlife to yards responsibly and safely.

The program is free and open to the public as part of the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project. Backyard Wildlife Habitat applications, gardening information, and assistance with landscaping for wildlife will also be available.

Group needs help from cat lovers

Volunteers are needed at the Northwest Organization for Animal Health, 31300 Brandstrom Road, Stanwood. Volunteers will help feed and care for cats on weekday mornings beginning at 8. For information or to volunteer, call Laura Sureepisarn at 360-629-7055.

Vaudeville festival needs performers

Performers, along with many volunteers, are needed to help stage the first of what is hoped to be an annual Homegrown Festival Vaudeville Show in August in Marysville. Pianists, dancers, singers, costumers, prop masters, set builders, jugglers, clowns, acrobats, playwrights and choreographers are asked to call Leslie Buell at 360-659-1300 or 425-268-5285.
