Avoid traffic and the cost of parking by taking Community Transit to the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe Aug. 24 through Sept. 4.
Routes 270 and 275 serve the fairgrounds from Everett, while Route 271 travels to Monroe from Everett Station and Gold Bar. The first buses arrive at the fairgrounds before the fair opens. Additional night service is being added during the fair for those who like to stay late.
Parking for the fair is free at Everett Station, at Smith Street and Pacific Avenue, or at the Snohomish Park and Ride at Highway 9 and Bickford Avenue. Buses from all around Snohomish County serve Everett Station and can provide transfers for those who want to continue to the fairgrounds. Bus fares are $1.25 each way for adults, 75 cents for children 6-18, and 50 cents for seniors. Children 5 and younger ride free with an adult.
