Snohomish County has lifted the burn ban in unincorporated areas. Outdoor burning is now allowed with a valid burn permit.

Elder and health fairs both today
The Ethnic Elders Resource Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW.
And Providence Everett Medical Center offers a Centennial Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Everett Mall.
Bus changes hit the road Sunday
Community Transit will add Route 119 to serve the Meadowdale area of Lynnwood on Sunday, when the agency’s fall service changes take effect.
There are many changes, including Route 240, which will connect with Island Transit in Stanwood. Community Transit passengers can transfer to new Island Transit Route 411C, which runs from Camano Island to Oak Harbor via Stanwood and Mount Vernon.
Mausoleum named for Whidbey Island
For the first time in more than 30 years, Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle is constructing a new mausoleum. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for 1 p.m. Sunday at 11111 Aurora Ave. N.
It will be called Whidbey Court Mausoleum in honor of Whidbey Island.
