Late-night drivers can expect delays on I-5 through Everett as crews work on a new carpool lane and other improvements.
During construction, the freeway will be reduced to one lane in both directions overnight. Late-night drivers traveling either northbound or southbound or taking the left-hand Broadway exit should plan for delays.
The work also may be loud. It will continue weeknights through October.
