BOTHELL — Fire officials Tuesday evening investigated the cause of a garbage truck fire.
Crews were called to a fire in the 1800 block of 180th Street SE about 4:40 p.m., Snohomish County Fire District 7 Battalion Chief Ralph Provenzano said.
Something set a garbage truck at a maintenace facility ablaze, he said. Nobody was hurt.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in less than 20 minutes, Provenzano said. The truck was heavily damaged, and some items inside the shop were burned.
It wasn’t clear what caused the fire.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the incident.
