PORT ANGELES — A diver was taken to a Port Angeles hospital Tuesday morning after an accident off Dungeness Spit.
The Clallam County sheriff’s office said two men were diving for geoduck clams when one diver’s face mask was dislodged.
The other diver brought him to the surface, and a state Department of Natural Resources boat took both divers to the Puget Sound Pilot Station on Ediz Hook.
Sgt. Lyman Moores told The Olympian the injured diver had a pulse when he was taken to Olympic Medical Center.
