Constituents having problems dealing with federal agencies can talk to members of U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen’s staff at “mobile office hours” in Lynnwood Thursday.
Members of Larsen’s staff say they can act as liaisons between constituents and federal agencies including the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, and the Office of Personnel Management.
The Larsen staff’s August “mobile office hours” are scheduled for the Lynnwood Public Library Large Meeting Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25.
The library is at 19200 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
A team from Larsen’s office will be available to discuss constituents’ federal agency concerns and potential solutions.
Larsen’s staff plans to hold mobile office hours monthly.
Constituents with questions also can call Larsen’s Everett office at 425-252-3188.
Staff members say that in 2015 they were able to assist more than 400 constituents who were facing issues with federal agencies.
Larsen represents the 2nd Congressional District including Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, coastal areas of Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties from Mukilteo to Bellingham, and all of Island and San Juan counties.
