Shaughnessy
Deirdre Reardon of Burlington and Dean Shaughnessy of Camano Island were married on Aug. 15.
The bride’s parents are James Reardon of Waiuku, New Zealand, and the late Lois Reardon of Burlington. The groom’s parents are Tom and Colletta Shaughnessy of Camano Island
He is a project manager for the Everett Parks and Recreation Department. She is a medical transcriptionist.
Their wedding was held at Samish Island Chapel with a reception afterward at Samish Island Community Hall.
The bride’s attendants were her two daughters, Natalie and Amelia Brown, with her son Conrad as ring bearer. The three children sang for the ceremony.
The groom’s best man was his twin brother, Gene Shaughnessy.
The couple took a weeklong boat trip around the San Juan Islands on the groom’s boat for their honeymoon.
They will make their home in Burlington.
