Green-living gurus are always talking about giving gifts of “experience,” rather than things.
I couldn’t agree more when it comes to the Northwest Flower &Garden Show set for Feb. 18-22 in Seattle.
With at-the-door admission now at $20, it’s no trifle getting into the show.
Here’s the good news: Buy tickets now through Feb. 17 and you’ll pay only $16 (early bird) or $15 (if you buy 20 or more tickets).
This year’s show theme is “Sustainable Spaces. Beautiful Places,” featuring environmentally friendly garden design ideas in the form of 26 full-scale display gardens, more than 110 free seminars and hands-on demonstrations, and thousands of the industry’s leading gardening products and services.
I love this show, and despite the huge marketplace section of the show (chock full of vendor booths), I never buy anything. I just go to get inspired by the display gardens and to dream.
By the time February rolls around, it is just what the gardening doctor ordered, definitely a great gift!
