Karley Benoff, a 2014 graduate of Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, received a Husky 100 award from the University of Washington, where she graduates this year with a mechanical engineering degree. Benoff was honored for her efforts to empower people with all levels of mobility. That included researching to develop and evaluate assistive devices, working in teams to tackle unmet clinical needs, and helping establish HuskyADAPT, a student organization dedicated to improving and advocating for accessibility.
