Cartooning tips
Bill Barnes offers Cartooning in the 21st Century on Saturday in Everett.
The cartoonist will speak at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Everett Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave.
Barnes is co-author of a strip called “Unshelved.” He will talk about the Internet era and how a cartoon artist makes himself or herself stand out.
How does one find that unique “voice” — the most valuable thing a cartoonist can have?
How do you find your audience, make a name for yourself and earn some money in the process?
This will be an interactive presentation, including some hands-on work.
The program is free.
