GOLD BAR — A Gold Bar man was treated and released at a local hospital Thursday night after he reportedly was stabbed by a neighbor.
The victim, 58, and his neighbor, 40, both had been drinking and got into an argument about 9 p.m. in the 16400 block of May Creek Road, Snohomish County sheriff’s bureau chief Kevin Prentiss said.
At one point, the neighbor allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife in the upper back.
The victim’s injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening, Prentiss said. The neighbor was treated at a different hospital for a minor wound to his hand.
The neighbor was then booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of assault and burglary.
Detectives with the sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate.
