More than 5,000 seniors from Snohomish and Island counties will graduate in the next three weeks.

The Herald will be publishing the names of valedictorians, salutatorians and class speakers in future Applause columns on page 3B in Friday editions.

Officials recommend you call the schools if you are not sure if the graduation is open to the public.

Here is a list of graduation ceremonies:

Weston High School, 7 p.m., June 14, Post Middle School commons. Estimated graduates: 27.

Arlington High School, 7:30 p.m., June 15, in the gym. Estimated graduates: 300.

Stillaguamish Valley School, 7 p.m., June 19, Free Methodist Church sanctuary, 730 E. Highland Drive. Estimated graduates: 11.

Coupeville High School, 5 p.m. June 9, at the high school, open admission but tickets for reserve seating. Estimated graduates: 70.

Darrington High School, 1 p.m., June 9, Darrington Music Grounds, in good weather; Darrington Community Center if it rains. Graduating class: 34.

Edmonds School District (tickets required at all schools)

Edmonds-Woodway High School, 6:30 p.m., June 16, in the gym. Estimated graduates: 340.

Lynnwood High School, 7 p.m., June 15, Edmonds District Stadium. Estimated graduates: 220.

Meadowdale High School, 7 p.m., June 14, Meadowdale High gym. Estimated graduates 296.

Mountlake Terrace High School, 6:30 p.m., June 14, Edmonds District Stadium. Estimated graduates: 291.

Scriber Lake High School, 7 p.m., June 13, Scriber Lake High. Estimated graduates: 41. Estimated students expected to be honored for completing GED (General Educational Development certificate): 34.

Cascade High School, 7:30 p.m., June 19, at the school. Ticket only. Estimated graduates: 350

Everett High School, 8 p.m., June 19, at the Civic Auditorium on campus. Ticket only. Estimated graduates: 248

Jackson High School, 7:30 p.m., June 19, at the school. Ticket only. Estimated graduates: 295

Everett Alternatives High School, 6:30 p.m., June 14, at the school. Estimated graduates: 26 to 30

Granite Falls High School, 8 p.m., June 15, GFHS stadium. Estimated graduates: 115.

PROVE Alternative High School, 7:30 p.m., June 7, at Lake Stevens High School Performing Arts Center. Estimated graduates: 35.

Lake Stevens High School, 7 p.m., June 8, LSHS gym. Tickets required for both the ceremony in the gym and to watch on a screen in the Performing Arts Center. Estimated graduates: 330.

Lakewood High School, 7 p.m., June 7, Lakewood High gym. Estimated graduates: 135.

Marysville-Pilchuck High School, 7 p.m., June 12, at the high school gym with overflow in the auditorium, ticket only. Estimated graduates: 625.

Marysville Alternative High School, 7 p.m., June 14, Cedar Crest School. Estimated graduates: 35.

Monroe High School, 7:30 p.m., June 14, at the school. Estimated graduates: 304.

Leaders in Learning (alternative high school), 7:30 p.m., June 13 in the Frank Wagner Memorial Auditorium.

ACES Alternative High School, 7 p.m. June 14, ACES gym. Estimated graduates: 70.

Kamiak High School, 6 p.m., June 17 Hec Edmondson Pavilion at the University of Washington. Estimated graduates: 400.

Mariner High School, 2 p.m., June 17, Hec Edmondson Pavilion at the University of Washington. Estimated class size: 330.

Bothell High School, 7 p.m., June 13, at Hec Edmondson at the University of Washington. Estimated graduates: 430.

Oak Harbor High School, 7 p.m., June 18, in the high school gym, by ticket only, closed circuit TV in the field house open to the public. Estimated graduates: 350.

Snohomish High School, 7 p.m., June 18, high school stadium, ticket only. Estimated graduates: 575.

AIM High School, 7 p.m., June 15, Snohomish School District resource and service center, 1601 Ave. D.

South Whidbey High School, 2 p.m., June 9, in the high school stadium (weather permitting) or gym; ticket only until 1:45 p.m. Estimated graduates: 167.

Bayview (Alternative) School, 4:30 p.m., June 7, at Bayview Hall. Estimated graduates: 13.

Stanwood High School, 7 p.m., June 8, in the high school stadium (weather permitting) or gym, ticket only. Estimated graduates: 280.

Lincoln Hill (Alternative) High School, 6:30 p.m., June 5, in the Stanwood High School auditorium. Estimated graduates: 21.

Sultan High School, 7 p.m., June 16, at Sultan High School stadium or gym, depending on the weather. Estimated graduates: 94.

Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy High School was Friday, June 1. Graduates: 48.

Arlington Christian School was Friday, June 1. Graduates: 5.

Grace Academy, 7 p.m., June 8, at Grace Academy.

Masters Touch Christian School, 6:30 p.m., June 7, at the Word of Life Church in Marysville. Graduates: 17.

Snohomish County Christian School, 7:30 p.m., June 15, Westgate Chapel. Estimated graduates: 34.
