GRANITE FALLS — A Granite Falls man who crashed his car into a tree earlier this month died a week later at a local hospital.
Just after 9 a.m. June 14, Kenneth Klasse crashed near Robe Menzel Road and Bosworth Drive in Granite Falls, said Courtney O’Keefe, spokesperson for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Medics performed CPR. Responders took Klasse, 63, to a local hospital, where he died June 21, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Klasse was the only person in the car, O’Keefe said.
On Tuesday, investigators continued trying to understand what caused the crash. It may have been the result of a medical incident, O’Keefe said.
