MOSES LAKE — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is hoping donations from the public can help them bring back police dogs.
The office hasn’t had a patrol K-9 program for about 20 years. K-9 teams are used to track down suspects, in rescue operations and to find things like explosives.
The sheriff’s department wants donations to help set up four K-9 teams, with each of the teams costing about $30,500.
