A tip of the hat to The Olympian‘s Brad Shannon for tracking the number of state lawmakers seeking to cut their own pay by 3 percent — which is the size of pay cut imposed on most state employees.
Shannon’s initial report pegged the number at four state representatives. But his latest update puts the number at 10.
Here’s the list he’s compiledt:
House Speaker Frank Chopp, D-Seattle; Republican Reps. Ann Rivers of LaCenter and Bruce Dammeier of Puyallup; and Democratic Reps. Mike Sells of Everett, Troy Kelley of Tacoma, Larry Seaquist of Gig Harbor, Christopher Hurst of Enumclaw, Tina Orwall of Normandy Park, Kevin Van De Wege of Sequim and Reuven Carlyle of Seattle.
