William Bergen Greene, a man who claimed to have multiple personalities, was convicted today of indecent liberties and first-degree kidnapping in a 1994 attack on his female therapist.
Greene, 49, is scheduled to be sentenced to life in prison without release by Judge Richard Thorpe today.
He is considered a persistent offender and will be sentenced to life under the state’s three-strike law. A Snohomish County Superior Court jury deliberated about five hours following the five week trial.
Greene claimed he was insane at the time of the attack due to the appearance of one his multiple personalities.
Greene faces continued jeopardy.
He now will be shipped to King County where he will face trial for the rape and murder of waitress in 1979.
