Haller Middle School leadership students recently organized a food drive to benefit the Arlington Food Bank. The students gathered more than 1,500 pounds of food and $1,700 for the food bank.
“It feels really good to help those in need,” ASB President Levi Younger said.
The students dropped off the food and money in early March. Haller has hosted the food drive over the Valentine’s Day holiday for the past five years. This is the time of year when the food bank needs donations the most.
“Our food supplies are down this year,” said Jerrie Inman, food bank director. “This really means a lot.”
