SNOHOMISH — A two-car head-on crash had Highway 9 blocked this afternoon. One person was being rushed to the hospital by helicopter, officials said.
The crash occurred near Marsh Road around 3:30 p.m.
Police were blocking the road while rescue crews treated the injured, Washington State Patrol trooper Kirk Rudeen said.
Paramedics were requesting a helicopter to rush one patient, described in critical condition, to the hospital, Rudeen said.
Officials did not know when the highway would be reopened.
