SPOKANE — The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for parts of Eastern Washington until 8 p.m. today.
Forecasters expect high temperatures around 100 degrees in the area that includes Ellensburg, Yakima Tri-Cities and Walla Walla.
Above-normal temperatures are expected through the week in Eastern Washington. In Western Washington, forecasters expect highs in the 80s with clouds moving inland by midweek.
