The infamous Lake Stevens chicken, long the target of pranks by local high school students, has a kindred soul in eastern Washington, it seems.
The Tri-City Herald has an entertaining story and even a video of Rudy the rooster, who was apparently stolen and then abandoned on the side of the road.
Yes, the chicken tried to cross the road. Rudy’s owner says he plans to bolt the 400-pound, 5-foot-tall bird to a concrete slab so he’ll stay put from now on.
