MONROE — Highway 522 was closed for nearly an hour this afternoon after a passenger car crashed into a motor home, sending both vehicles into the ditch, officials said.
No one was seriously hurt, Washington State Patrol Sgt. Kirk Rudeen said. The crash occurred around 1:45 p.m.
Crews may have to close the road intermittently this afternoon to clear the cars from the side of the road, Rudeen said.
A second minor crash occurred in the back-up for the motor home collision, he said. No serious injuries were reported.
