Crews plan again to close Highway 522 in Monroe tonight to finish installing raised pavement markers.
Weather permitting, crews will close both directions of the highway from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. at the U.S. 2 interchange. Drivers will be detoured around the closure using 164th Street SE, Fryelands Boulevard and U.S. 2.
The work is part of the Highway 522-U.S. 2 interchange widening and safety project. Crews are building a new direct ramp from eastbound Highway 522 to eastbound U.S. 2: www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/SR522/US2Interchange.
