ARLINGTON – Highway 9 reopened this evening after a head-on collision shut down the road during the afternoon.
Four people were sent to a hospital from the accident. The crash occurred about 3 p.m. and closed the highway from 204th Street NE to Eaglefield Drive for about three hours.
The accident happened south of 204th Street NE in the 20100 block of Highway 9, said Kristin Banfield, spokeswoman for the city of Arlington.
Four patients, two males and two females, were transported to Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington for treatment.
Arlington police were investigating the cause of the crash.
