Highway closed at Maltby Road after robbery suspects crash

Minor injuries were reported. The suspects’ car was believed to have been stolen.

MALTBY — Three people were taken into custody after a pursuit of robbery suspects ended in a crash that blocked Highway 527 at Maltby Road Wednesday afternoon.

A collision investigation team from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene.

Minor injuries were reported to the suspects whose vehicle collided with another vehicle, the sheriff’s office reported on Twitter.

The suspects’ vehicle was believed to have been stolen, sheriff’s spokeswoman Courtney O’Keefe said.

Details of the robbery were not immediately available.
