WASHINGTON, D.C. – With dignitaries and celebrities arriving for this morning’s inauguration, thousands of people with tickets are wondering if they will be able to witness the swearing in of Barack Obama as they hoped.
Some who have been in line for more than four hours trying to reach the “purple ticket” area are giving up and looking for a way out of the thicket of humanity.
The line has stood in an unmoving line since 6:30 a.m. (EST).
People are getting frustrated because there’s been no information provided on why the crowd isn’t moving toward the security checkpoints and through the gate.
There are people in the crowd chanting, “Let us in!”
