GRAHAM — The Pierce County medical examiner’s office says a man found dead Wednesday in a house fire at Graham had been killed by sharp force injuries to his head and neck.
The News Tribune reported that the death of 55-year-old Douglas Erhardt of Graham was a homicide.
Authorities also are investigating the fire as suspicious because it was reportedly set at several places in the home.
Smoke was reported by neighbors and firefighters found the body.
