SULTAN — A woman was taken by helicopter to a Seattle hospital with a head injury after she fell off a horse Friday morning.
The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m., SnohoÂmish County Fire District 5 Chief Merlin Halverson said.
The woman reportedly was riding in a corral when she fell from the saddle and crashed into a wall, he said.
Medics said the woman appeared to be in her late 50s. She was flown to Harborview Medical Center, the region’s trauma center.
