Many Democratic state legislators are spending part of Saturday conducting town hall meetings in their legislative districts.
You can be pretty sure they will be explaining why Democrats are suspending Initiative 960 in order to raise some taxes to balance the state budget.
One of these public meetings will be at 1:30 p.m. in Mukilteo, hometown of I-960 author Tim Eyman.
Reps. Marko Liias, D-Edmonds, and Mary Helen Roberts, D-Lynnwood, along with state Sen. Paull Shin, D-Edmonds, are expected at the meeting to be held in Mukilteo City Hall.
Here’s the line-up as posted on the House Democratic Caucus Web site.
