RENTON — Police say a suspect is in custody after a 21-year-old woman was found shot to death in the home where she was house-sitting.
Renton police spokesman David Liebman that a family returning from vacation found their house sitter dead inside the home just before midnight Tuesday. The house sitter was to have picked them up at the airport.
Leibman says Zachary Craven was booked into King County Jail on investigation of two counts of homicide on Wednesday. Liebman says Craven is the estranged boyfriend of an adult daughter who lives in the home. She was also on vacation with her family.
He says there were no signs of a struggle at the home, and a motive not immediately known.
Renton police say the suspect is also connected to a homicide in King County earlier in the day.
Renton is 12 miles south of Seattle.
