@1. a BODY STYLES:BOTHELL Five people were injured and two of them were arrested early Sunday after the car they were riding in crashed on I-405 in Bothell, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Investigators believe an altercation between the driver and a passenger caused the vehicle to lose control about 12:13 a.m. near the Highway 522 junction. The car, heading north, rolled over and came to rest upside down on the freeway’s right-hand shoulder, patrol communications officer Billi LaTurner said.
The driver, a 19-year-old Everett man, and one of his passengers, an 18-year-old Renton woman, were both treated for minor injuries and booked into the King County Jail.
Two other passengers, a 16-year-old girl from Everett and a 20-year-old woman from Renton, were treated for injuries at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
A 14-year-old girl from Mountlake Terrace who was also in the car was treated for injuries at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in Kirkland.
The accident remains under investigation by the State Patrol.
