ABERDEEN — It turns out the discovery of a big pile of bloody fish heads on I-5 this week was the second such case on Washington state roads recently.
The State Patrol says a batch of fish heads was also reported Aug. 28 along Highway 101 in Grays Harbor County. Trooper Jason March responded and shoveled the fish heads off the road. No witnesses to the fish-head spill have come forward.
It wasn’t clear if that incident was related to a case in north Seattle on Tuesday, when a trooper responding to a report of a lost load slowing traffic on I-5 found fish heads spilled across several northbound lanes.
