TACOMA — The Transportation Department reopened all lanes of Interstate 5 at Tacoma at 4:15 a.m. today, nearly 12 hours after a tanker fire that shut down freeway traffic.
No one was injured. Some pavement was damaged and had to be repaired.
The tanker was owned by the bulk commodity transport company Lee &Eastes.
