PUYALLUP — An icon of the Puyallup Fair has been moved from a main entrance to help symbolize the name change to Washington State Fair.
The oversize cow head bust was removed Monday from the Gold Gate.
The News Tribune reports ticket booths and a canopy also will be removed as part of a remodel that will open a street level view into the fairgrounds.
This year’s fair opens Sept. 6 in Puyallup.
