TWIN FALLS, Idaho — An 18-year-old Twin Falls man is charged with selling a stolen dump truck for $500 and using the money to rent a motel room, order pizza and buy synthetic marijuana.
The Times-News reports Jacob Jack Bellus was arraigned in 5th District Court Monday on charges of grand theft and inhalation of an intoxicant. His bail was set at $10,000.
Court records say a man reported his 1961 Chevy dump truck stolen on Friday. The owner estimated its value at $1,500 and said he knew it was at A-1 Towing in Twin Falls. The owner of the towing company told police that Bellus sold it to him for $500.
Bellus was arrested the next day with 13.9 grams of “spice” in his pocket, along with a pipe and $131.
