TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A Twin Falls man is charged with biting off part of another man’s ear, chewing it and spitting it at him during a fight.
The Times-News reported Roger N. Evans was arraigned on Sept. 12 on a charge of aggravated battery causing permanent disfigurement.
Prosecutors said Evans was at Melissa Emerson’s house on Aug. 21 when her brother, Dallis Houle, came by to get some of his belongings.
Houle said Evans wanted to fight, so he started to leave. He said Evans pushed him backward, he tripped and Evans landed on top of him, biting part of his ear off.
Court records say Evans told investigators that Houle hit him, threw him to the ground and shoved a thumb in his eye before he bit him.
