Here are a few fun things you could do this weekend. Feel free to use one of them as an excuse to put off the weeding.
- Go look at some garden art. Art of the Garden will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Monte Cristo Hotel in Everett. The event is going on until Aug. 21.
- Visit Coupeville and admire the lavender gardens and watch artists at work. More about the Saturday and Sunday event.
- Learn a bit about sustainable agriculture. 21 acres Farm in Woodinville offers a tour on Saturday.
- If you are interested in dahlias, and don’t mind a bit of a trip, you could visit Kitsap County this weekend. Kitsap County Dahlia Society’s annual show. Or you could wait a bit. More dahlia show are planned closer to home.
