Air Force Airman Ashlynn Saville graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Saville is the daughter of Clinton and Verna Saville of Mesa, Ariz. She is a 2013 graduate of Kamiak High School, Mukliteo.

Air Force Airman Britney Bennett graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Bennett is the daughter of Dennis and Julie Bennett of Lake Stevens. She is a 2012 graduate of Lake Stevens High School.

Air Force Airman Seth Fifield graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Fifield is the son of Christen Gobel of Marysville. He is a 2013 graduate of Marysville Getchell High School.

Navy Hospitalman Michael E. Johns, son of Erick and Jamie Johns and brother of Mackenzie Johns of Everett, has completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Johns is a 2013 graduate of Everett High School.

Red Cross seminar

A free “Reconnection Workshop” will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Edmonds Community College for veterans, military members, their families and support groups.

Topics include communicating clearly, exploring stress and trauma, identifying depression, relating to children and working through anger.

The workshop is intended for a small groups and is led by a Red Cross licensed mental health professional.
