Navy Seaman Recruit Joshua D. Harding, son of Timothy and Lisa Hatzenbeler of Stanwood, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Harding is a 2014 graduate of Stanwood High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Nicholas J. Tremain graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Tremain is the son of William and Tina Tremain of Edmonds. He is a 2006 graduate of Kamiak High School and earned an associate degree in 2012 from Marshalltown Community College, Iowa.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Erika Santos graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Santos is the daughter of Isabel and Mel Limpin of Oak Harbor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2011 from San Diego State University.

Army Pvt. Steve Scheel has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Scheel is the son of Kris Johnson of Lake Stevens. He is a 2009 graduate of Lake Stevens High School.
