Lake Stevens grad helps keep Top Gun computers in top running shape

FALLON, NEVADA — A 2014 Lake Stevens High School graduate serves at the Navy’s top fighter training facility, home to a program the world knows as Top Gun.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Isaac Munn is an information systems technician working with the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center stationed at Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada. He maintains system networks, troubleshoots computer issues and makes repairs.

In a profile by the Navy Office of Community Outreach, Munn says his theater days at LSHS have helped him in the Navy.

“That taught me the value of communication. Those valuable lessons have helped me when communicating with my chain of command and co-workers,” Munn said.

Fallon is Munn’s first duty station.

“I’m the first in my family to serve in the military,” he said. “I’m proud to serve my country and look forward to exploring new places, meeting new people and building my career.”

Flags for our Fallen: Monroe Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7511 hosts its second annual Flags for our Fallen 5k walk and run event at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Lake Tye Park in Monroe.
