FORKS — An inmate who escaped from the Olympic Corrections Center remains at large.
A Department of Corrections spokesman Chad Lewis, says a nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for Michael D. Johnson, 22, of Vancouver, Wash.
He was missing at a 7:30 p.m. Saturday headcount at the minimum-security prison near Forks. Lewis says searchers believe they know where he headed.
Johnson had been at the prison since Aug. 25 on drug and gun convictions.
The prison has about 350 inmates and a staff of 109.
