Intruder shoots man to death at Federal Way home

FEDERAL WAY — Police say a man who broke through a sliding glass door at a Federal Way home about 3:15 a.m. Thursday shot and killed a man who confronted him inside.

KOMO Radio and KIRO-TV report a police dog tracked down a suspect about 20 minutes later. He was arrested and treated for bite wounds.

The victim’s girlfriend inside the house was not injured. She reportedly had a prior relationship with the intruder.
